Two Options for Vaccines

April 12, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

This week, there are two different options to get a COVID-19 vaccine, one through Pittsburgh Mercy and one through the University.

OPTION 1: Community-based physical and behavioral health provider Pittsburgh Mercy is offering free COVID-19 vaccinations by appointment to adults 18 years and above. The provider is distributing the two-shot Moderna vaccine.

The vaccinations are being administered at its South Side Vaccination Clinic at Pittsburgh Mercy Family Health Center, 249 South 9th Street, Second Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 today and tomorrow:

  • Monday, April 12, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 13, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Appointments, masks, and physical distance are required.

The vaccine is free. Free parking is available.

To schedule an appointment, or for more information, please visit Pittsburgh Mercy’s COVID-19 Vaccination webpage, or call 412-918-0631.

OPTION 2: Duquesne will receive a limited number of doses of the two-shot Moderna vaccine later this week. Please monitor your email for additional information and a chance to register through the SONA system.

Employees are encouraged to make an appointment and obtain the vaccine to protect themselves and others on campus and in their communities.
