April 5, 2021 - COVID Testing After Easter Break
With the Easter holiday past, the end of the academic year is just 30 days away. The University’s COVID-19 safety measures remain in place to ensure that our campus community can finish the semester safely and in-person on campus.
Students, faculty or staff who traveled for the Easter break and who have returned to campus must take a COVID-19 test.
Testing is provided free-of-charge by the University. Individuals can make an appointment through the SONA system. Easter Break return testing will occur in the Genesius Theater at the following times:
- Wednesday, April 7, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, April 8, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Individuals should look for "Easter Break Return COVID Testing" in the SONA system to schedule an appointment. Individuals must schedule an appointment.
This testing is only for individuals not experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19. Students experiencing symptoms should contact Health Services. Employees experiencing symptoms should contact their primary care provider.
Individuals owe it to roommates, classmates, professors and co-workers to use safe hygiene practices, engage in preventive behaviors, and ensure that you test negative prior to being present in common areas on campus.
